In 1992, the German tabloid press had a summer hole topic: in Magdeburg, people were digging for Hitler's, Eva's and Blondie's ashes. Reason enough for Magdeburg's tourist office to commission the Botschaft to design the window display on Kurfürstendamm accordingly. The ashes were placed in typical German jam jars for advertising purposes. This collective artistic work by the Botschaft e. V. group was created as part of the ‘richtig '92’ series of events at the Dirty Windows Gallery in Berlin.
