"Z" 9/94: "Buchenwald"
The rearrangement of the memorial in the former concentration camp "Buchenwald": After 1945 the camp was further used by the Red Army as a prison camp for German war criminals. The former GDR-memorial is now going to be changed into a memorial for all "victims of totalitarianism". That leads to the paradox that partly victims of national socialism and their murderers are to be remembered at the same place.
