"HUNGRY MINDS THINK ALIKE?"

Event at Kunstamt Kreuzberg, Aug. 20th - 23rd, 1998

With "Hungry Minds Think Alike" we wanted to initiate an international cooperation between film- and videomakers.
We had met all the participants from seven different countries through the years of our work with Botschaft e.V. or in the multimedia projects of dogfilm. In terms of content as well as style there were many common aspects, e.g. playing with the border between documentary and fictional work, the subjective view onto the surrounding worlds and the various realities of different political and culutral contexts.
The aim was to realize a common video as a kind of medial relay race. The first step was a meeting with all participants in Berlin, which meant public screenings as well as non-public project work.
